During recent years Goodnestone has been the setting for a number of spectacular events, including fireworks in aid of charity, opera, and various concerts – classical, jazz and rock. The village fete is held in the gardens every July. There are usually two to three plant sales each year, with renowned Kent nurseries taking part.

Snowdrop & Hellebore Extravaganza
Gardens open with visiting nurseries Plant Show and Sale in association with Kent Branch of the Hardy Plant Society.
At noon talk by Val Bourne. Refreshments. Ample Parking
Admittance: 11 am - 4 pm £5.00 adult, £4.50 concessions, £4.50 HPS members.
