Gardening opening times for 2009
Note: Nursery open at same times as Garden

Early Spring Season
The gardens are open for early spring bulbs and shrubs on Sundays 15th & 22nd February, and 1st, 8th, 15th and 22nd March.
Admittance on all days 12 noon-4pm

Main Open Season
24th March - 2nd October
Tuesday - Friday : 11am - 5pm
Sundays: 12 noon - 5pm
Closed Saturdays and Mondays except Bank Holiday Mondays

Will visitors please note there is some disruption in the Walled Garden at the present time because we are building a water feature which will be completed during the summer. Visitors can still access the Walled Garden.

House open by prior appointment (guided): Parties up to 20 £3.50 each
There are full disabled facilities and most areas of the gardens are accessible to wheelchairs

Coach parties are most welcome but please book in advance. See below for contact details

Refreshments
Refreshments (including home made cakes and cream scones) Are available on all open days until the end of September. The tea room closes at the end of September. In addition light lunches are available on all open days except Sundays.

Shop
The shop sells postcards, leaflets and guide books. Also for sale are work by William Plumptre, one of Brook and Margaret FitzWalter's sons and a renowned contemporary potter, and paintings by local artists, many illustrating the gardens.

NOTE: Dogs are not allowed in the garden
