Weddings and receptions
For a number of years Goodnestone Park has proved a highly popular venue for wedding receptions and we are now delighted to announce that we also have a license for holding civil ceremonies.
Weddings can be booked on Saturdays throughout the year, when the gardens are closed to the public and are therefore available for the exclusive use of the wedding party.
Civil Ceremonies are held in the FitzWalter Room and Receptions are held in a marquee on the main lawn in front of the house. Special private access to the house is granted to the bride and groom.
Basic fees charged for 2010 will be £750 for a Civil Ceremony and £2,500 for a Reception. We are happy to advise on all other details such as marquee, caterers and florists which are charged individually directly by suppliers.
